The temperatures may be dropping outside but things are heating up in the Maynineteen offices with 6 Christmas Lights and Christmas launch shows to organise this month alone. Events are taking place in shopping centres across the country throughout November.
Maynineteen will be lighting up York, Manchester, Warrington, Chester, Kent and London with a roster of pop-stars, TV celebrities, Olympic athletes, and professional entertainers to keep the family crowd smiling in the spirit of the season.
The range of festivities this year is particularly varied, in York and Chester the focus is very much on local participation. Medal-winning York Olympians, Luke Campbell, Lizzie Armitstead, and Ed Clancy will switch on the lights in their home city; and at Cheshire Oaks local choir groups will sing around Europe’s tallest Christmas tree with the Manchester Airport choir created by Choirmaster, Gareth Malone. This event will raise money for local charity, Clare House Children’s Hospice.
In Kent, X-Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson will add the Christmas sparkle; and in Warrington CBeebies presenters, Cerrie Burnell & Alex Winters will entertain the children along with the hugely popular, Mr. Bloom, Mister Maker, and Twist & Pulse.
Director, Katie Coombes said, “This Christmas is gearing up to be a season to remember, with all the trimmings. We’ve got musical performances, stilt walking snow queens, ice dancers, fireworks, entertainment and festive fun for all the family.”
